2013 WHL playoffsWhat once seemed impossible is now on the verge of probable for the Kelowna Rockets.

Kelowna’s Myles Bell kept the Rockets season alive when he scored at 10:39 of overtime to give them a 4-3 game six win over Seattle in Kent Washington last night.

The game opened like a wild west shootout with both teams scoring three times in the opening frame. The teams then went 51 minutes without bulging the twine as the goaltenders took over combining for 71 saves in that time.

The series is now even at 3-wins-a-piece with game seven set for tonight in Kelowna. The victory also continues the Rockets quest to become just the second team in WHL history to rebound from a 3-nothing series deficit.
