The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that import defensive back Terrell Maze has re-signed with the team.  Financial details were not released.

Maze (5’11 – 175) will be entering his third year with the Roughriders after originally signing with the team ahead of the 2012 season. Last year, the 29-year-old started 13 regular season games at defensive back registering 27 defensive tackles, five pass knockdowns and one interception. He also started both playoff games and the Grey Cup where he chipped in three defensive tackles and a knockdown in the Riders victory.

The San Diego State product will enter 2014 having played 29 career regular season games, recording 72 defensive tackles and one interception. He was eligible to become a free agent on February 15th.

Meanwhile in Hamilton, General Manager and Head Coach Kent Austin announced the release of non-import receiver Dave Stala.
