Riders Glenn Out…. For A While:

The hits keep coming for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Yesterday the club moved injured Quarterback Kevin Glenn to the 6-game injured list.

Glenn tore his pectoral muscle making a tackle in Sunday’s loss to B.C.

The Riders will now turn to rookie Brett Smith to take over the offence. Tino Sunseri will serve as the back-up.

The Green and White did make a roster edition yesterday.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that they have signed national fullback Carl Fitzgerald. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Fitzgerald (6’5 – 250) was originally selected by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the third round (20th overall) of the 2013 CFL Draft.

In 30 regular season games over his first two seasons, the Peterborough, ON native three receptions for 66 yards and five special teams tackles.
