Hilltops/Rams Set To Renew Hostilities In 2014 Canadian Bowl

For the second time in three seasons the Saskatoon Hilltops and the Langley Rams will meet in the Canadian Bowl for Junior Football supremacy.

The Rams are looking for their first national title while the Hilltops hope to win their 17th.

Saskatoon finished the regular season with a 6-and-2 record atop the Prairie Football Conference while the Rams were 7-and-3 in the regular season finishing second in the BCFC.

Saskatoon earned a berth into the Canadian Final with a 27-7 victory over the Calgary Colts while, Langley defeated the top ranked Okanagan Sun in the BC Final.

Inside the numbers:

Langley:

Scored the most points in the BCFC with 443.

The Rams had the fifth rated offence in their conference in terms of yardage. While, their rushing attack was 3rd and their passing attack was 5th.

Saskatoon:

The Hilltops offence were tops in terms of points for, yards from scrimmage, and rushing yards. Saskatoon’s offence was, however, fifth in yards passing through the regular season.
