Hilltops Focus On Full Effort

The Saskatoon Hilltops are ready to return to the field looking for redemption in week five of Prairie Football Conference action.

The club is coming off a deflating loss to the Regina Thunder last Saturday at Saskatoon Minor Football Field.

At practice this week the team got back to basics and renewed their commitment to the process.

The focus and commitment were very evident to me as the team clearly wants to make ammends for the heart-breaking 26-25 loss last week.

The club will attempt to even their record as they head play the Huskies in Edmonton tonight.

The Huskies enter the game with a 2-and-1 record while the Hilltops are 1-and-2.

Both teams, however, are coming off tough losses as the Huskies fell 42-26 to Calgary last week.

This is the second meeting of the two clubs this season as the Hilltops edged the Huskies 19-16 in week 2.

Hilltop Head Coach Tom Sargent spoke about the week that was heading into Edmonton.
