Huskies OFFENSE: Points 4, RUSH 6, PASS 2 OVERALL 3

Quarterbacks Drew Burko and Kyle Siemens combined for 2,824 yards through the air for 15 TDs in 2015. Their favorite target was Mitch Hillis who lead the conference in receptions with 66 and was second in yards with 1052. On the ground, despite only suiting up for six game Tyler Chow was third in the conference with 96.8 yards per game.

RAMS OFFENSE: Points 6, RUSH 4, PASS 4, OVERALL 5

Sophomore Quarterback Noah Picton, despite being on a winless team, turned in a solid 2015 completing 65.9% of his passes for 2134 yards and 10 TD’s. His favorite target was his cousin Mitchell Picton who hauled in 41 passes for 503 yards. On the ground Atlee Simon lead the conference in rushing attempts (155) and yards (938).

HUSKIE DEFENSE: Points 4, Yards Allowed 5, Pass, 6, Run 3

Donovan Dale was a monster on a defense that surrendered the most passing yards in the Canada West in 2015. Dale lead the conference in sacks with 10 in 8 games. Meanwhile,

RAMS DEFENSE: Points 5, Yards Allowed 4, Pass 5, Rush 2

No picks here. In 2015 the Regina Rams were the only team in Canada West not to register an interception. Mason Rossler, however, had a campaign to remember leading the team in tackles and defensive points.

HUSKIE SPECIAL TEAMS:

Sean Stenger will once again handle both the punting and place-kicking duties for the Dogs. He was second in the conference averageing more than 40 yards per punt. However, Stenger will be looking to rebound after connecting on just 12 of 23 field goals.

RAMS SPECIAL TEAMS:

This will be a definite area that the Rams will look to shore up in 2016 after their kickers split reps last year and no returner immerged as a definite threat. With the athletes the Rams have recruited this season there will definitely be a turnaround in the third phase.

OF NOTE:

Friday will be the annual support our troops night with a number of tributes to members of our military. Additionally, it is the launch of year two of the Rally Alley. Gates open at 5pm with food, free beer, entertainment, and an opportunity to win Carrie Underwood tickets with CJWW.
