The View From the Sidelines and Toon-Town Communications are proud to present CFL Legends.
This week we continue our look at the 1989 Grey Cup winning Saskatchewan Roughriders.
While the team celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the win at the brand new Skydome in Toronto, we had a chance to catch up with one of the key pieces linebacker Gary Lewis.
Lewis played for the New Orleans Saints in 1983 before joining the Ottawa Roughriders in 1985. The following season he was dealt to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and played the remained of his 10 year CFL career in Green and White.
Since his playing time in Regina, Lewis has officiated High School Football back home in Oklahoma. Additionally, he has spent a great deal of time in prison.
